We have introduced two settings so far—— Account and Stores, which are not that complicated and take little time to set up. Today, let’s move on to the next setting-Pricing Rule and figure out how you can benefit from the Pricing Rule menu.
How you can benefit from the Pricing Rule setting?
Pricing Rule is made up of Pricing Templates, Currency and Assign cents. For Pricing rule, you can dive into the calculating of product sale price in advance and combine it with the other two functions to publish it to your store.
More information about Pricing Rule
Pricing Templates | Pricing templates are based on an individual store, which means the function is store-level and you can apply different pricing rules to your each store. And according to your subscription plan, you can have access to different pricing rules. There are three pricing rules:Basic pricing rule, Standard pricing rule and Advanced pricing rule. You can adjust the pricing template as the way you want to calculate the final sale price, including price and compare price if necessary. |
Currency
| This is an account-level function. To convert your product price in USD into the selected currency in your store, you need to first turn on the corresponding currencies button in Stores setting to activate the application of currency and then turn on the currency button in this setting to apply currency rate successfully.
|
Assign cents
| It is also based on account and you can specify the decimal part of your product price and compare price. The integral part will not be affected and that is the price value your customer will see in your store. |
